Mathematical Sciences Trust (MST): Enhancing Mathematical Sciences in Nepal

Establishment and History: The Mathematical Sciences Trust (MST) traces its origins to 2011, when a group of passionate mathematicians and members of Lions Club International Multiple 325, Nepal, gathered at Indreni Complex, Baneshwor. Founding figures including Prof. Dr. Ram Man Shrestha, Prof. Dr. Madan Man Shrestha, Prof. Dr. Bhadra Man Tuladhar, Prof. Dr. Siddhi Prasad Koirala, Prof. Dr. Hira Bahadur Maharjan, Lion Khagendra Sitaula, Lion Bharat Dhungel, Lion D. R. Khanal, Mr. Rudrahari Gyawali, and Dr. Shree Ram Khadka envisioned a dedicated organization to promote and elevate mathematical sciences in Nepal. Officially registered as a non-governmental organization in 2014 at the CDO office in Kathmandu, MST embarked on a mission to foster a robust mathematical community and advance the study and research of mathematics across the country.
